At Island Soap & Candle Works we offer our customers the
benefit of fine old formulas using more costly natural ingredients. Our
handmade soaps are luscious with mild tropical fragrances that bring the
wonderful scents of Hawaii to your bathing experience. We use authentic
techniques of soap making that has been handed down through the ages. All
of our soaps are made entirely with pure vegetable oils that are combined
with other natural herbs and essential oils.
Unlike most machine made
soaps, the glycerin which is naturally produced with soponification is left
in our soap making it more beneficial to the skin. A rosemary
extract is added as a natural preservative. Each bar of soap has been hand
poured and since no chemicals are added will be cured for 21 days in
Hawaii's warm tropical tradewinds before final inspection. Our botanical
candles are made with a special formula that provides a long lasting,
clean, dripless burn that fills your home with the tropical scents of the
Islands.
